Employee of the Month - October 2019

For the month of October we have chosen our employees of the month at each site.

Acacia

 

Evelyn Reyes has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month! Evelyn has been an asset to our program. She is very creative and very good with her students. Evelyn always has a very positive attitude while at work. She is very committed to her work and clubs. Evelyn is always on time and has the best attendance. If there was one word to describe Evelyn, it would be Fabulous!
 
 
 
Bautista Creek
 

Makenna Sweatt has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month. Makenna has only been in the program for a short time but has done such a wonderful job with the K/1 Class. She is always on top of the expectations, activity plans, and really cares for the students. The students absolutely love Makenna. She is always up for trying something new and is very flexible when it comes to changing her schedule due to staffing. Makenna arrives to work on time and always with a great attitude. These are the reasons why Makenna has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month! Keep up the great work Makenna!

 
Cawston
Donna Sullens has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month! She is in charge of our winter fundraiser and has been for the past 4 years! In all other fundraisers she is our champ; whereas she makes connections with stores for donations. She has Cawston School Spirit, as she always follows the school's activities (i.e. red ribbon week, STEM, etc.). She is loyal and dedicated to the children and staff. Donna is diligent in our check out procedures, ensuring the safety of our children. Donna challenges her students with creative and innovative activities. Cawston is lucky to have Donna Sullens as part of their team.
 
Cottonwood K-8
Kristyna Martin has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month! Kristyna is a go getter! She takes initiative. If she sees it needs to be done, she gets it done! Kristyna works very hard for the students, the program, and the Site Facilitator. She has developed a rapport with not just the students, but the staff. She has great ideas and is a great resource for collaboration within our team.

Dartmouth
Marina Quiroz has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month! Marina has championed all of our sports clubs. Even if she isn't too sure of the rules, she is eager to learn and ask questions to do her best in coaching our students in whatever sport they are participating in. She has done a great job in finding her role here in our Dartmouth family.

Fruitvale
Paula Stoltenberg has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month! Paula has really taken initiative to help whenever it is needed. She has stepped up as a second in charge, learning everything she is unsure of and practicing it any chance she has. She takes charge in helping lock up and make sure everything is all situated at the end of every night as well as putting in countless extra hours of prep for her class without ever asking for anything in return.

Hamilton K-8
Katie Szymanski has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month. Katie has shown growth in her new CAS position. She always tries to stay upbeat and looks for positive outcomes or compromises in difficult circumstances and always focuses on the good. Katie has great willingness to learn from her fellow teammates. Katie develops and fosters relationships with staff, students, and parents. She continues to overcome any obstacle presented daily. I appreciate her going to Cottonwood when they needed help with coverage. Katie is a Championing Basketball with great enthusiasm. I appreciate and value Katie's work and Hamilton K-8 is proud she is part of their team.
 
Harmony
Christina Esparza has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month! Chrstina has jumped right in where she left off, we are so glad to have her part of the team again. Harmony heroes went wild when she returned back to work. Christina has always been a positive force for the students. Christina always has an amazing DIY club that the students love.

Hemet Elementary
Perri McNeil has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month! She is able to have a perfect balance of discipline and fun! She goes above and beyond with Engineering Club and the students have lots of fun building Legos and making projects. Mrs. Perri's room is decorated very pretty (She's truly an artist), and it feels very welcoming. I appreciate all of her input and suggestions, Thank you for being part of this program. Our students, parents, and staff are truly blessed to have you!
 
 
 
Jacob Wiens
Alondra Payes has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month! Alondra has been improving and learning how to handle the K/1 grade class. She is very kind and sensitive with her students. Alondra has gone above and beyond in the creativity of her clubs with her students. Jacob Wiens is very happy that she thinks outside the box and has learned to find her style with them. She is always on time and communicates clearly on what is needed.

Little Lake
 
Brittany Llamas has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month! Brittany is outstanding with the kids day in and day out. She knows just what to do in each moment. Little Lake has had the opportunity to watch her grow and learn to become the CAS she is today. Brittany is the second in charge and has had to use her quite a bit this month. She has stepped up with no hesitation and does a fantastic job. She does things without being asked or directed. She just knows what needs to be done and does it. Thank you so much for being awesome you deserve this and more!!!
 
 
McSweeny
Susan Ronchetti has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month! Susan has not issed a day since the school year has started and continues to showcase leadership skills and dedication to the program. For the month of October, Susan has led FNL's two field trips (Leap summit and Six Flags) and made them both very successful turnouts. She also booked a DJ for the monster ball and got a guest speaker for Red Ribbon Week. Susan continues to lead the way and keeps our program a great place to be.

Ramona
Vanessa Herrera has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month! Vanessa has only been with Ramona for a short time but has already seen a turn around in the group that she has, their homework rotation is getting completed and behavior management is coming aroundVanessa is a great addition to Ramona and is a team player who fits in perfectly. Vanessa has stepped up and helped to quiet the students down even if they weren't in her group.

Rancho Viejo
Juanita Sotelo has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month! Juanita always comes in with a positive attitude. She listens well and is willing to take on any task that is given to her. Her creativity with arts and crafts is amazing. From themed ideas around the holidays to creative projects, the students really enjoy going to her club. She is passionate, committed, and driven. Our team is happy to have her at Rancho Viejo Middle School!
 
 
Valle Vista
Heather Burdick has been chosen for October's Employee of the month. Heather really stood out for the month of October with her dedication to Valle Vista's Flag Football team and making the whole experience fun for the students. She also really shined when setting up for the Spooky Dance. Heather really took charge and had so much done by the time Karie even go to the site!

Whittier
Jacqueline Coronado has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month. Jacqueline rarely misses a day and goes above and beyond to see that the program runs smoothly. She has a classroom management down to a science and the students respond well to her approach. She makes an extra effort to communicate with paretns and students in a positive manor. She has really taken her position to heart.

Winchester
Victoria Boe has been chosen for October's Employee of the Month! Victoria is new to Winchester but the kids already love her! She has taken initiative in creating an awesome schedule for her class each week and continues to impress with her creative ideas. The Winchester team is lucky to have her!
