Save After School
Governor Newsom is proposing a budget revision that could potentially cut after school programs funding statewide. If these budget cuts do get approval, it will drastically impact the SAFE Program, as well as other after school programs.
In an effort to save the funds for After School Programs we are asking you to help get our community voice heard and let Governor Newsom and state officials know how important after school programs are in our Hemet Community.
We encourage our community to use the below opportunities to voice concerns about proposed cuts.
You may also share this information with your social media platforms for an even larger outreach.

You may do a call to action to let the state know exactly what the After School program means to you as a parent, employee, or student.
You may also use the Phone 2 Action tool as well. This allows you to contact education budget leaders and tell your story about why the after school programs matter to you, the students and families that the SAFE/ZONE After School Program serves.
